Taking action to ensure that your business is fully compliant with ADA accessibility and signage requirements is not only smart; it’s also the law!

Enacted in 1990, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a civil rights law prohibiting discrimination against individuals with disabilities. It ensures that people with disabilities have access to the equal opportunities in employment, education and other areas of public life.

An important requirement of the act is that facilities open to the public must use ADA-compliant signage.

This guide helps to explain the different type of required signage and key factors for compliance.
